Bait Tub on the Octi?
Whatever happened to or is planned for the bait tub that was on the Octi when I was on the pier in January? Just hadn't seen anything on it in a while.

Someone at the park didn't like the installed one they worked on, so they brought out a new square one and worked on it. (Actually an old electric box). Then someone said the baitfish would run into the corners and kill themselves, so scraped that one and returned the original, but pump wasn't strong enough, so they have ordered one. Still not up and running....

All the warning I expressed in the beginning.....maybe up and running when I can get down.....but my 3 & 5 gallon will serve me well like always.....I do have a decent round 20 +gl. With pump system, but not from the pier....keeps live baits nice in the garage

Unless it has a lockable lid it, will be a late night kiddy pool for some and a urinal/garbage can for others. Sorry to be negative but......

How does this Bait Tub work? Who puts bait in, who takes bait out, is it free, if you add bait how do you track yours?

Why would someone waste their time catching or buying bait when they can just partake of the "community" tank? I am also afraid that John G may be right about the garbage pit aspect; having seen the pier on "mornings after."

i dig the hopes for kindness that could be extended from the idea, but not sure it is being well-planned. Plan your work, work your plan.
I will put any of my extra bait in there with the hopes that it will be used thoughtfully. Not trying to stir an already stirred pot, by the way.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
