Now to the question? Just wondering what to expect to catch around August 18 are so...

A very nice suntan, lol. My experience is August, I have caught some small reds, flounder, whiting, blues, and skipjack in the surf. But let the locals tell you more..

You will see some blues and lady fish for sure. I have got into some Spanish mackerel. I go that same week every year but unfortunately not this year. If you have never fished here you should do 2 things first contact pier# on here he is a guide that will meet you on the pier and show you the ropes well worth the money and before you meet him go see the guys at j & m on canal rd. good luck to ya and I hope this helps.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
