Asking for Prayers for a dear GSP family member
This afternoon around 4:30pm, Chris fell asleep on the west picnic table after having spent 12 hours fishing. After about a 45 minute fight with Cameron hooking into a stud king, I went to the table (where my tackle box was) and Chris was knocked out. I tried to wake him to have him move out of the direct sunlight to finish his nap and I could not get him to wake up. Jason (Chris' best friend) came over and tried to wake him to no avail. We both got worried and poured ice water on his neck and head, thinking surely he would wake up, but he did not. We sat him up and that's when Chris went comatose. We were able to get him laid down on the pier deck (a million thanks to all the guys that helped move him) and 911 was called. Medics were unable to wake him and transported him immediately to South Baldwin ER.
Please pray for a rapid recovery for him and pray for his wife and daughter as they are worried sick and scared.
Please, please, please remember to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated when spending the day on the pier.
Hopefully, he does not mind me posting this, and I will keep you guys updated. Chris has quickly become a part of our close GSP family and can use all the prayers he can get right now! We love you Chris! Here Pishy Pishy! (They like it when you talk sexy to 'em!)

Wow... Prayers sent.

I spoke to Melanie a while ago and she said that he was in ICU but stable. They intubated him last night but they have removed the tube and he was sitting up and talking.
Thank you all for the prayers! God is good! And again, thank you to all who helped. Here Pishy Pishy! (They like it when you talk sexy to 'em!)

Just left the hospital. Chris' stubborn ass is fine. His wife is doing ok too.
