Anyone seeing any fleas?
I walked a good stretch behind Bahamas Bobs tonight and didn't find any fleas at all. Has it been too cold for them this year? There were plenty last year at this time.
I'm not drunk! I'm just not very articulate, and probably a little drunk.

Same thing all up and down the coast so far this spring.
Maybe the red tide last fall killed them off?
sure hope they show up soon!

Now I'm going to be scrambling for bait. I picked up some fish bites from J&M today, but no live bait.

They are there just off the beach. There are some around the beach at the pier but they have been harvested regularly there for a while. I got a bunch last week on the beach at Harbor Place when the wind was out of the North and the tide was really low. Cheap pvc waders or a wet suit would have been nice.

I found some fleas! I also caught a few things that looked sort of like sand fleas but had a whip tail. What are they?
Ghost shrimp had volcanoes all over the place so the kids are getting geared up to catch them tomorrow.I'm not drunk! I'm just not very articulate, and probably a little drunk.

Well this week has been a humbling one. There were many thousands of shrimp tubes a few nights ago and none to be found last night.
I sat at the pass and fed three dozen shrimp to the pinfish on Wednesday and spent all of Thursday using the smaller pinfish for bait.
We left a day early but plan to give it a try again next month.I'm not drunk! I'm just not very articulate, and probably a little drunk.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
