Any ling today?
Anyone see any brown turds swimming by the pier today ??

I was on the Octi from 0630am till 1830pm, I didn't see any Cobes, Cobes thrown on, nor any real Cobe mania.
Plenty of people staring at the dirty water with appropriate gear at the ready, myself included.
One guy managed to catch a few LYs, I had my son wrangle one from him and promptly bottom rigged it, in the hopes a passing Ling would be enticed.
No such luck.
Mr #1 Ling Killer, aka Wilson, even showed up for a short while, but bitched about it being too cold.
The Man may be built like a manatee, but he must cold blooded and need to bask in the sun.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
