Is any bait around royal palms in the surf
Hello guys once again me n my wife and youngest daughter are heading down Monday n staying til Saturday. We are staying at royal palms close to the pier. I will be fishing pier quiet a bit but also will fish surf with my daughter. I have looked and researched but can't find much about the surf fishing at royal palms. Can anyone please let me know what bait is still around in the surf at royal palms. Also what fish could we expect to catch in the surf. I know I'll have to come to pier r elsewhere to catch a few sheepies. Any info would help is the weather affecting the fishing and fish like it is here in bham also looking forward to seeing some of u guys on the pier.

Look for ghost shrimp mornings at low tide.

Check the other stores nearby (Top Gun & Sam's) for slurp guns.
Also ask about availability of live shrimp and "fresh dead" (as opposed to frozen).
I would bait up in that order ;-)
Note: IF the beach or pier isn't working for you (with the kids) try the seawall at Perdido Pass.
Usually a good variety there if nothing else going on and you never know...

With the kids my suggestion would be fresh cut bait Any small fish will do Just cut a full fillet with scales on and cut that into say 1/2 in small strips You can catch anything out there that swim with this and the fish can not get it off easy Can catch 3 or 4 fish on the same piece

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
