They don't look alike, but both are members of the jack family, as are pompano and hardtails. They have fins, tails, gills, rough mouths (no teeth) and fight disproportionately hard for their size. And they can all swim, and they all live in salt water.
You and I would not mistake one for the other, but some folks can be misled by ignorance and wishful thinking. Let's hear it for the Alabama Yellowfin!!!
