All Geared up for return
I will be back to GS in a month for my daughter's wedding. When I was last there (end Sept) I didn't have the proper gear for the Octi. Well, now I am armed and dangerous. I got my Penn Battle 6000 combo and my Penn Spinfisher V 6500 combo. Now, if I haven't forgotten everything Pier#r told me, I might have a chance to land something. I hope to see y'all at the end!!

Hope there's something glorious and hungry for you to test your new gear on. Might not be on the end though....don't forget the (shhhhh!) shallows.

Make sure you bring some lighter gear because sheepshead and whiting is what you will be targeting the last week in February.

good luck. A nice med. action 7' inshore setup is fun for the sheepies, but hang on, some of those dudes can be over 5-6lbs.

I'm sure you'll do just fine Gregg!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
