? About the park lakes.
Does anyone think it would be worth hauling my kayak down to fish in Shelby lake this time of year? I have fished there in February before and caught a few bass. Iwill be coming down next week from NW TN and staying in one of the park cabins. I plan on hitting the pier and beach plenty, but uncertain if there would be anything going on much in the lakes.

Lots of bream and shellcrackers. Redfish and catfish too. Bream just came off bed, so they should be hungry.

I work 100 yards from a lake full of bass, catfish, bluegill and crappie and live within 30-40 minutes of Wheeler, Wilson, Pickwick and Guntersville. I drive 6 hours to the Gulf for specs, pomps, redfish and flounder. If I were bringing a kayak I would explore Little Lagoon for specs and reds.

There are specks and red fish in the lake. I fish there when I'm down staying at my camper in the park. I kayak fish and on my fly rod catch some really monster Bream on Poppers. I have caught sever Reds up to about 10lb and specks on that same popper.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
