-21 in WI, looking forward to the white beaches of Gulf Shores..
Heading down with my family over Christmas. Looking forward to the other white on the shorelines.
Hopefully i will be able to tangle with a few reds, convicts, and whatever else hits my bass gear. Any advice or tips appreciated.
I am also looking for kayak, paddleboat, paddlleboard, or inexpensive boat rentals for the week.

Welcome to the Forum, speeder. Check out the Search button on the Q&A page to learn as much as you can before you get down there. There is a wealth of knowledge available; you should take advantage of it, we sure do. Good luck and smooth drags.

Welcome aboard. In case you didn't see my reports on Fri. and Sat., if you go after sheepies, be sure to take some fiddler crabs with you---the pinfish were absolutely murdering the live shrimp. One of the knowledgeable regulars on here advocates using two fiddlers on your treble hook. Good luck. I'll probably be chasing after those whitetail deer about then.

Thanks for the winter wonderland photos. The tail end of the polar vortex is now touching the beach and the temperature has plunged into the upper forties. Shiver. FinChaser is probably wearing socks with his flip-flops again and I've switched to my crocs without vent holes.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
