2013 SEC BeachFest at Gulf Shores Main Public Beach - Gulf Shores , ALIf you have little anglers that want to get in on the fishing action, they can participate in the Kid’s Pier Fishing tournament on Sunday at the Gulf Shores State Park pier. Kids ages 15 and under will have a chance to compete for prizes and meet their favorite coaches and players. Can you think of a better way to end the summer and bring on the new football season than a weekend of fishing and famous faces at the beach? We can’t!
There will be FREE fishing rod & reel combos donated by several local tackle dealers for 200 kids!Bring your kids to the pier in Gulf Shores State Park on Sunday, August 18 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. for a chance to meet former Heisman Trophy winners and win one of many prizes! Children 15 years and under. Free Admission!
There is supposed to be an assortment of SEC 'legends' on the pier to help the kids, and hopefully some of the pier regulars will be there to assist them all.
Let's see what we can do to help.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
