Thread: 2013 pier picnic

Has the date been set for the annual picnic? Seems I always come down just before or after.
Did not know if it is a rsvp type event or just come as you are. Also how would you find out
what you could bring to add to the feast?

As the date approaches, Fin will post a few alternatives. After a date is chosen, he'll post a list for folks to add to. Last year it was April 28 and was a huge success. Easter is early this year - March 31 - so that leaves a lot of dates open. Just guessing, but I suspect the 20th or 27th, whichever is least likely to be associated with a spring break.

The last Saturday in April and a menu thread will be started a couple weeks before hand.No reservation is needed but a thread will be started trying to get an idea on how many will be there.Who is the current ramrod at the pier? I hear Dawg is gone and I'm not sure what Teresa's position is. We need to know who to suck up to so there are no surprises.

[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]DD and john g are spot on, as of right now we are shooting for April 27th. We figured the last Saturday in April was easy to remember from year to year.
