Also, kudos to those who devote their time to keeping this such an excellent forum. Thanks again to Bubba for catching my egregious error in judgement the other day. That was one case where he did unring the bell. Thanks, guys.

Wow. Thanks for the welcome. I ran into a couple of guys this week on my first trip out onto the octi that told me about this place. I live in Kentucky but my wife and I just bought a little place in Orange Beach that we're going to start spending some time in. I usually fish the beach so you guys will have to bear with me as I learn the ropes out there. I look forward to absorbing as much as I can. Thanks again for a wonderful community.

When was this fishing forum started? I saw the 2012 copyright date at the bottom of the forum. I've really enjoyed the forum so far and hope I didn't miss out on much. Fishing on the pier has brought back a lot of good memories of when my Dad would take me fishing on the old pier and the forum just keeps me fired up. I can't wait to read the reports everyday. To all that keep the forum up and going THANKS!
