You hook it, we cook it

There’s nothing better after a day of successful fishing than eating the fruits of your labor. Too tired to cook your catch? There are restaurants from Gulf Shores to Orange Beach that will prepare your catch to order. The restaurants range from the casual to upscale. The Cook Your Catch directory includes: Louisiana Pantry; Gilbey’s Seafood & Steak; Flora-Bama Yacht Club; Café Palm Breeze at Perdido Beach Resort; City Grill, Village Hideaway at The Beach Club; Villaggio Grill at The Wharf; Voyagers at Perdido Beach Resort; Shipp’s Harbour Grill and Tacky Jack’s – Orange Beach.
Need to catch the big one first? Spend your day doing some Orange Beach fishing on a charter trip or sinking your line at the Gulf State Park pier. There are plenty of options and opportunities to reel in tonight’s dinner.

Do you need to call ahead or just show up with a cooler of fish . I would assume fish need to be cleaned ? Just curious . Something different to consider during my stays. Has anyone tried this ?

You need to have your fish ready to season and cook. Filet is preferred but they will bake a whole flounder if it is gutted and scaled. They will not clean, gut or filet your fish. I just bring a small cooler with the filets in a ziplock bag and tell the server how you would like it prepared.

Add Big Daddy's grill to the list also. He will also fill your cooler with ice if you eat there.

Make sure your chef eats too
I was looking for a place on the beach in P'cola, I was told the Village Cafe will cook my catch for me.Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
