Where is the best place to buy seafood?
We are leaving Oklahoma tomorrow to head down for a week. This is our first time in gulf shores so don't know the area. I love to cook and need some help on the best place to buy shrimp/seafood to cook at our rental house. I appreciate your help!

S & S seafood market is where I got my mine last year. It was good. I have also had good experiences with Lartigue's, other than their totally erratic business hours. For some reason, I get the idea that locals don't like Lartigue's that much. I'll probably go there this trip, as it's very close to where I'm staying.

Head over to Bon Secour and go to Billy's. Hwy 59 to County Road 10 west then follow the signs.
I hear Blalocks is ok as well but I have no experience with them.Carl

Go to Billy's in Bon Secour and buy your shrimp there they also have crawfish and all other kinds of fish.Take some cocktail sauce or buy it there with some horse radish. Get them to steam them Cajun style and you can start eating on the way back to your condo. A lot of people also eat at the Tin Top restaurant you'll see it on the way.

I recently moved here and work in Pensacola... Everyone here says Joe Patti's in P'cola is the best around.

Is the Fresh Market on Ft. Morgan Rd. still open? They are good for bait shrimp, supper shrimp, grouper, fresh crab meat, and a lot of fresh stuff. Hope they are still there, it has been our go to spot when we get to come down to fishing Paradise.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
