Three pieces of 1/2" +/- thick asparagus makes for a tidy triangle, approx five minutes per side.

This doesn't work well with thin wimpy asparagus, they cook too fast and get all mushy before the bacon can crisp.

I'll have to try that man it looks good. I love asparagus.
