    Fried Flounder

Tonight I cooked a whole fried flounder out of the freezer from last falls trip to the beach. Live size was probably 16 inches or slightly over. Scored it on both sides dipped it in buttermilk and rolled it in seasoned corn meal. My wife was telling me that it was too big for one person and I kept telling her that I have eaten that size for years. Well tonight I had to quit after finishing the top side and put the rest in the fridge for tomorrows lunch. It is Hell to get old and double Hell to admit that what your wife has been telling you correct. I am monitoring you guys fishing reports because only 9 more days until I move into Four Seasons for a month. The Old Fisherman wishes all of you Good Luck.

Hey old fisherman , we are heading down this Friday to four seasons for a week. I hope to see you down there and hope I have a good flounder report for you. I'll be the 6'5 big guy fishing for flounder all day. Hopefully they will be biting. Have a safe trip down.

Hey Maccourt52 I just spoke with a friend who has been there a week and he says the flounder have been scarce at the Four Seasons pier. I hear the state pier is catching some. I will be the old man with the big hat and the walking stick. I am coming in the afternoon of the 15th for four weeks.

I'll be looking for you. I'll probably have a St. Louis Cardinals shirt on and probably a purple hat. I'll be the biggest guy out there I'm sure. Maybe I can share some fish stories. What was your friend catching at four seasons pier?
