Love it. I use soda marinades but so far only with jerky (venison or beef). Marinade some with Dale's (cut a little, cause it's so damn salty); and marinade some with root beer, coke, or dr. pepper. Various rubs.
Never even thought about soda marinades for pork before. Great idea and this weekend's grill activity for sure.
