Also, do realize that it is legal for a licensed CC licensee to carry on the pier and in the park.
The Park's Rules list this exemption, the Pier's doesn't, I've confirmed this with the Park, we are good to go concealed. :)
By State law we should be allowed to Open Carry too, just as we can anywhere else.
But, the Park adamantly said no, that they can make their own rules and that anyone OC'ing would be at the very least told to leave or face trespassing charges. They do not have the authority to override State law, but I'll not :wall: on this, if my shirt rides up, oops, and cover it back up to satisfy the sheeple.

You bet I do. When I'm wearing enough clothes, I carry a .38 spl. Colt Cobra, otherwise I have a .380 KelTek in my pocket.

I thought long and hard about the KT .380 before getting the Walther .40, but already have a Beretta .25 for times when a bigger pistol isn't practical. I know it's small but with the Hornady hollowpoints, it's sufficient from 10' in - which hopefully I would have recognized a bad situation and taken steps to remove myself before it becomes an issue.

As Ole TR said, "Walk softly but carry a large bore pistol." Well, words to that effect anyway.
Better to have and NOT need....then to need and NOT have...we don't pick and choose when and where something might happen....
I do try and NOT put myself in situations where I normally wouldn't be around undesirable people to minimize my chances of a need.....but they can happen anywhere and as time and economy sours more....they will start to multiple....heck just coming out from a store there has been armed robberies here

i wish you would reconsider the .25. i saw a police officer beat a guy unconscious after being shot point blank by a 25auto. all it will do is piss somebody off.
