With all the crud being spewed about why we should or should not have the Right to Bear Arms at all, whether we should have or not have certain types of firearms and for what purposes.
One must often simply quote the Founding Fathers and other wise men, their words and wisdom are often profound, especially being as they were oft gained through much turmoil, hardship and blood.
Never let the Anti's twist the truth of the Intention, nor chip away at our God given Rights, argue back with the facts.
When the 2nd falls all others fall too.

This actually serves little to know purpose to convince any anti's to see things the way you do. I tend to think of them more as mantras that excite and spur the pro gun crowd into action.

There's really no need to read on. My mind is already made up on the matter of gun ownership and the entire Constitution for that matter. I'd rather rely on my own interpretations of the meanings and decide on my own when my own personal actions are needed to defend them and my opinion will actually matter. I have and will maintain just a few guns for my own needs. As far as procuring anymore arms for WSHTF...meh. My current mentality is summed up by one quote by Sam Elliott as Sgt. Major Plumley in the movie We Were Soldiers, when it was suggested that he arm himself with a M-16, "Sir, if the time comes I need one, there'll be plenty lying on the ground."
