wondering
down at the bridge at Alabama Point , why is the wall fenced off where you cant fish anymore? just wondering

Damage to the sea wall and liability issues. There was a thread a while back pertaining to it. I think the last talk about it was the lack of funding. That's what I recall but I'm not positive.

Welcome to the board. Typical gummint screw up. Build it poorly and then claim to not have the funds to repair it. Same song, 10 billionth verse.

My guess would be that they would eventually HAVE to fix it. From the $$$ side, I'd imagine it would be a cheaper and easier fix now than it would be later on with more damage. Not to mention that hurricane fence is one hell of an eye sore.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
