Wifey has a Question
We are coming down the last week of July, trust I didn't plan the time. She is wondering what type of weather to expect then, usual temperature and humidity, afternoon thunder storms. Thank you for info.

It will be hot, except when it gets hotter.
Other than that, it will be highs around ninety, high humidity (we're next to the Gulf), lows in the high 70s. Afternoon showers are usually north of the beach, except when they drift south. There is usually an afternoon sea breeze out of the southwest. Temperatures may be as much as ten degrees hotter just a few miles inland, so be advised if y'all go shopping in Foley.
I you look at this week's forecast for Gulf Shores, you will be pretty much looking at the time you will be here. Y'all have fun.

Remember that you can get a really bad sunburn, even on a day when there are clouds hiding the sun. Apply sunscreen, wear a hat and stay out of the mid-day sun. While it may be in the low 90s, a nice Gulf breeze can make it seem not all that hot. It is and you all need to hydrate and make sure that you're not getting too much sun exposure.
Have fun! Be safe!
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
