    Where to eat?

Love great food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Years ago Sea n Suds had a great oyster happy hour. DeSoto's lunch specials were good. Any help on some great food options would be great. Thanks

DeSoto is still very good . Seniors menu for us old folks
You can check out their specials online. Doc's in OB is another locally owned good place.
We avoid the big "get em in get em out" places like Lulu's.

+1 on Desoto’s. My fav. Wolf Bay Lodge & the Oysterhouse are high on my list also. Not so much on Lulu’s.

My personal favorite is the original oyster house in Gulf Shores. Cost is reasonable and if you want something basic but good I recommend the shrimp basket or flounder basket or combination of the two.

Back in 2013 we spent the month of Feb. and ate so much good food. My wife thought it was too long to be gone. I fished everyday and didn't miss Nebraska or family. Thanks for the replies.
