Whats up with the new Cui ??
Hey, the last CUI i bought was a 9' black blank and it isn't finished, it looked like a gator. ??? a friend of mine bought the 8' noodle and it was the same way and it was heavier than the old ones. They are also not painted anymore, they are one uniform color all through the blank, so no more sanding down to a pretty brown color anymore. I was just curious if anyone knows whats up
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I really like the natural fiber glass look, personally I wouldn't even know why they would paint something so good looking ....but I guess not all like that look or just doing the color change for exactly that..... a change

At least the yellow ones wont chip and show a bunch of white spots like they used to

Im looking for a hand wrapper for starting out on rod building. The people at the rod room suggested a newer pac bay hand wrapper that looks like an electric wrapper and can be converted to one if you buy the motor separate. Im thinking it will be good so if i really get into it i could just upgrade without buying a whole new one. Y'all think this is a good plan? Ill probably build one of the 8 ft yellow cui's as soon as i get the hang of it

You can build one out of a card board box with two V's cut into it to hold the rod. I would play around with it before diving off in a purchase of a hand or power wrapper.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
