From what I noticed last year there were about 6 weeks of different spring breaks all over the south.

There are two waves of spring breakers:
college (mostly young people in groups, and a few families from out of town, or state), and
high school/ grade school (mostly 'local' or nearby young people, and families) April 6-10
The colleges start it all the last week of February this year and it builds thru March with a crescendo the first two weeks of April, then 'poof' ;-)

Most in Alabama are in mid to late March but they start the first week of March and go through the middle of April in the land of grits and sweet tea. Ours is March 23-27 and I intend to remove 70 sheepshead, 21 pompano, 14 kings, 105 Spanish, 21 slot reds, and 1-80lb cobia from the waters of the Alabama Gulf Coast that week if I can dig that many night crawlers.

Don't forget to bring a bucket of fiddle worms.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
