Alabama: Game Warden Arrested for Theft at Bass Pro Shops
PRATTVILLE — An Alabama game warden was arrested at a Prattville sporting goods store Monday afternoon and charged with misdemeanor theft.
James Hudson II, 56, of Wetumpka, was released from the Autauga Metro Jail on Monday evening after posting his own $500 bond, said Sheriff Joe Sedinger. Hudson is a conservation enforcement officer with the Alabama Department of Conservation, Police Chief Mark Thompson confirmed. Hudson was in uniform and driving his state-issued vehicle at the time, confirmed Brad Ekdahl, city prosecutor.
Husdon was arrested at 3:48 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops, in the 2500 block of Bass Pro Boulevard, police reports show. The charge is misdemeanor theft, the records show. Hudson allegedly stole two sets of broad heads, arrow points used for hunting, valued at $73.98, the report shows.
