Alabama: Game Warden Arrested for Theft at Bass Pro Shops
PRATTVILLE — An Alabama game warden was arrested at a Prattville sporting goods store Monday afternoon and charged with misdemeanor theft.
James Hudson II, 56, of Wetumpka, was released from the Autauga Metro Jail on Monday evening after posting his own $500 bond, said Sheriff Joe Sedinger. Hudson is a conservation enforcement officer with the Alabama Department of Conservation, Police Chief Mark Thompson confirmed. Hudson was in uniform and driving his state-issued vehicle at the time, confirmed Brad Ekdahl, city prosecutor.
Husdon was arrested at 3:48 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops, in the 2500 block of Bass Pro Boulevard, police reports show. The charge is misdemeanor theft, the records show. Hudson allegedly stole two sets of broad heads, arrow points used for hunting, valued at $73.98, the report shows.

If you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and brother, it's starting to rain!

Sometimes, incidents like this are evidence of a psychological break. In uniform, driving his vehicle, 56 years old and engaging in a petty theft - there's something going on with him that's not quite right.

May be a break or may be consistent with this individual's character (I have no knowledge).
Reminds me of something I heard an Episcopal Priest say once, after a case of serious deviancy by a priest had been disclosed - "If you were evil and wanted to hide, where would you hide?" Sometimes behind a badge is another good place to hide. - That is not intended as an indictment of LEOs, just a fact about the nature of human beings.
If they caught this guy it is possible that he had been doing this for a while and they were watching for him. My wife works in retail and there is an awful lot of this going on. People steal from one outlet of a chain store and take (or an accomplice takes) the item to another outlet of the same chain for a "refund".People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

if you get pulled over for speeding and get a ticket. just remember that wasn't the first time you've ever sped. just got caught this time.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
