What is the average water temp in early October

Do y'all know what the average water temp is in October.

The short answer is around 80 (in the gulf).

Thanks pier#r that helps. Wanted to make sure the kids could still swim.

If the creeks don't rise, we will be at Ft. Morgan in early October. I am so ready. What time is it am I there yet.
