Thread: Well Im offically done riding.

Finally decided I'm hanging up the helmet and selling my bike. Its no longer enjoyable to ride anymore. With all the people on cell phones and illegal drives we have here. Had this bike for about for awhile. A buddy and I got it out of a house fire and rebuilt it. Time for a new toy.

Yep I gave it up years ago, swallowed my heart a few too many times from people just acting like they were going to pull out in front of me....just not worth it then and couldn't imagine it now with what you stated....seen to many young in the hospitals missing limbs from bike wrecks

I told myself I'd quit when I can no longer throw my right leg over the saddle. Be damned if I'll ever pick it up and step through. I figure when that time comes, my body'll be telling me it's time to move on.

that is a nice little bike! i have been wanting to sell mine but not hang up my helmet... mine is just too big and fancy. I want a beater bike that i can ride and forget to wash haha

My last straw was almost getting hit head on by a drunk driver on a little back country road. had to lay it over in a ditch. Thank god it had been raining and there was soft mud. I thought my buddy behind me was a dead. He swerved in to on coming traffic to miss that darn drunk lady.

Billy- i would consider it if i didnt have my 03 Harley VROD takin up space in the shop as is! haha need to move it before i can consider anything else

I was looking at those vrods at one point then went with a Ducati monster instead. Thats one bike I wish I still had. Sad to say sold it to a guy in Dallas and he broke it that following week.

VRODS are nice and fast but too much for what i want now... i want simple and easy not fancy
