Weather Alert Day
Hope everyone makes it safely thru this bad weather day. We have been lucky here in Cullman so far.

Heard one went up I65 just west of us here in Gardendale. We've been up and down from the basement 4 times already this afternoon. Think I'll make me a bed down there gonna be a long night.

Eerie calm here right now in Auburn. (11pm) Some lightning in the distance.
Radar has us hitting the line at around eleven forty five tonight. Gonna stay up and see what happens.
We’ve got a reinforced concrete root cellar I made a few years ago. We call it the Hobbit House.
The wife knows to grab the dog, I’ll grab the boy,...and we’ll be fine,...iffin’ the freight train comes that is.
I was holding the boy as an infant about ten years ago in Cartersville GA (where we lived then) when the one that hit Adairsville Ga went by. I saw it go by and watched it,...about two miles off. Wide, dark, and mean.
Adairsville took it in the teeth. After seeing that mess, I know it ain’t no joke, and we’ll be going to ground asap.

I live on Lay Lake 8 miles north of Lay Dam on the Coosa river. "Bozo's Fish Camp area".
I had 4 that tracked within 10-12 miles of us but only one came close enough to send me to the storm pit.
Afterwards I saw some photos of that one's funnel right across the river from our place.
I definitely paid attention yesterday to the weather radar's in our area.
I think we were all fortunate to have no deaths or significant injuries from yesterday's outbreak
and we can only empathize with everyone who had damage. I only had one sizeable limb
break off and fall.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
