Ditto here.
Dang, Jery was a fine man.
He made some really cool cobe jigs. I will cherish his TIDE cobe jig and will never fish with it or the one he repaired for me.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy and the rest of his family.

till I met them. The day I brought my grandsons to the pier I introduced them to the brothers and they were quick to lend a hand when needed including giving my oldest a piece of a crowded rail and a little free advice. Guys I'll continue to say it, the best damned fishermen in the world fish on our little piece of heaven on earth.
Pax to the family and Spiritu Sacntus to Jerry
Omg! I am so sorry to hear this bad news! He always helped me with any fishing problems! He taught me how to catch flounder! He also gave me his gold hook off his hat when I caught my state record pompano, and told me that I earned the right to wear the gold hook! I will miss his kindness and his help fishing for flounder. I didn't know his family, but my prayers go out to them!
Sending prayers from our family to his.
Wow, really sorry to here that. Jerry was a nice guy, spent many a hours chasing specs and flounder in the evening with him. That's a shocker, my condolences to his family. He was quite the character, and I'm sure he'll be missed.
Jimmy said they have not gotten any news from the funeral home yet but he will pass it on when he does.
He also said he was very thankful for the support and concern from everyone.
Please keep them in your prayers as they work through this sudden loss...
Oh man ...just saw this...while I would not say I knew him, we spoke many times when I was down there. Very sorry to hear. Jesus hung out with a lot of fishermen when he walked the earth. Pretty sure he has a place for us in heaven so that we can wet a line for eternity. Rest in peace and save us a spot on the rail!!!!
