Video Profile
Hello everyone! I'm a video producer for AL.com working on a new web series called This is Alabama. For the series, we've been going around the state showing off what makes Alabama a great place to live and I'm interested in filming a documentary piece on fishing at the Alabama Gulf State Park Pier. I'll be in the Gulf Shores area this Feb, and was anyone here that could help make this project happen. Thanks!

Spring would be better for fish catching, when the rails are full of people catching tasty fish.....welcome .....pier#r would be a good start, or Haywire......visit J&M tackle for the best fishing store around......plenty of good fishing people that are always willing to help the less experienced......best pier on the gulf coast in my opinion from a northern visiter

Thanks everyone, Todd. I'll be in Mobile to cover Mardi Gras at the end of February, but if ya'll think spring/early summer would be a better time, I wait off until then to come down to Gulf Shores.

My vote would be spring/early summer Lot s more going on then I'd be glad to participate

Absolutely late spring/early summer. I'll be glad to waive my usual appearance fee and even forego any royalties. Should I wear my Speedo? Will Sunshine wear her thong?

You might want to consider the tournament on June 17th

Luke,
late March to early May is a good time if you want to avoid crowds and get to talk to the locals. There should be plenty of action with Spanish Mackeral and King Mackeral around too. Of course it's up to you, depending on what your looking for. Although, if your in the area, stop out anytime and say hi.
