Thread: upper delta wma

Has anyone had experience hunting this wma, coming down for a couple of days first week of april looking to hog hunt.

Check the regs closely as to what firearms you can use & what times you can hunt during turkey season. Pretty much shotguns with #2 shot or smaller, bows or blackpowder pistols .40 or bigger. No rifles (rimfire or centerfire), no centerfire pistols, no crossbows.


There are lots of hogs on the upper Delta, but its not easy hunting. What size boat do you have? Have a good map and GPS? Make sure to print & sign the permit maps and have them with you. http://www.outdooralabama.com/sites/...er%20Delta.pdf
