Up to 19" of snow...
We have our first winter storm heading our way up here in Wisconsin, predicting up to and maybe exceeding 19" of snow! Man how I miss the Gulf!

pokenfish, the Bears have so much talent for that to happen to them. I, as all Packers fans do, was expecting a victory...just not that lopsided!

I will have to take a trip up to one of you northerners one year so you can teach me how to hunt.
I've just always found it complicated trying to shoot right handed while looking through a scope with my left eye.
I may have to get up with Pete and learn some archery skills.

78 degrees today here in St. Louis, I mowed the grass for the last time. Tomorrow, lows in the twenties with highs supposed to be in the thirties. Snow by the weekend for opening day of gun season. Crazy! I'll be in the woods with my bow tomorrow too. Bucks are already chasin here in Missouri so it ought to be wide open tomorrow with the cool weather!

Being from MN., I googled Washburn, WI. because I had never heard of Washburn, WI. You are most definitely in God's Country, but,.... not when it snows. We took a trip up there in the Fall a few years back and it is beautiful!!! How is the fishing? Why in God's name are you leaving GS to go back home? You should be headed down to GS now, or I'm I out to lunch and you are home and spend the Winter in GS? If anyone is planning to go up there hunting, bring a good coon light, because they only have about 4 hours of daylight from now until about April 1st.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
