Underwater Forrest 15 miles south gulfshores found
This may deserve a better slot or better Topic but a UnderWater forrest has been found 15 miles south of GulfShores in 60 ft of water estimated to be 50,000 years old, some cypress stumps are 10 foot in diameter. See a preview at

Good stuff there. I had heard about this a while back and had forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me of it and providing a link to more info about it. BTW Forrest is a masculine name and a forest is a group of trees.

very cool. Just when we think we've found everything, the ocean always has something new to show us.
It seems fresh water biologists discover new species in the Amazon River all the time.

That's pretty cool right there. I sure hope the salvage loggers don't find out where this site is before they can get it protected, no telling what all the scientist can learn from this site.
I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
