Turkey bird down
Got a fine two-year old gobbler this morning. Now, with that nonsense out of the way I can concentrate on the sheepshead bite. See y'all soon.
Haywire is happy man. Killed bird with walnut size brain, smarter than he is.

When I get y'all cornered on the pier, I'll tell you the entire story---"I was here, and he was over yonder, etc., etc., etc."
I will say that I shot him two seconds after his feet hit the ground. It would have been one second, but I forgot the safety in all the excitement. Haywire quick like snake, but not as smart.

Nicely done,
Did you know that Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey as our National Bird because of its intelligence over that pretty scavenger

Turkeys were smart enough to turn the job down.

Way to go Mr. Wire!!! Did you put him to sleep and call him down the next morning, or was it blind, dumb luck?
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
