It's a good point. And it's not just the rain. With Irma, there will be hurricane-force winds all across FL and on into GA, likely. Downed trees means downed power lines and some real damage to people and property. It is and it's going to be a monster-storm!Quote:

FWIW, the NAM_HIRES model has Irma skirting by Tampa and making landfall around Panacea, about 60 miles east of Apalachicola. This is well within today's "Cone of Uncertainty."
