OBA Community News asked "What are the reasons you come to Orange Beach, AL"?
'Fishing' was #12
'Gulf State Park Pier' was # 17
And the #1 reason was 'affordability'.

That's the top 50 in alphabetical order, not preference.
My No. 1 is fishing, with the pier at 1A.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Same here.... but the people make gulf shores my choice for piers to fish (cleaning tables too), I've fished them all and never really had any issues on any, try to get along with most everyone , .... I like no alcohol on the pier.... That being said, "some" change in a bad way when consuming excessively ....

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
