Thunder On The Gulf

I always like going to watch the unlimited boat races here.....but never on the gulf, I will say being so much closer on the river was amazing the sound those boat motors put out and rooster tails .....Thanks for sharing,

Yeah, I know they go out to see who has the fastest boat, but yesterday afternoon, while I was at the Boggy Point launching ramp trying to catch mangrove snapper, it seemed like they were competing to see which one had the loudest engine. Scared off all the fish except for the big ladyfish.
Speaking of ladies, I was severely injured when one of the spectator boats came idling by and the thong bikinis (plus contents) in the cockpit burned my corneas, even with my polaroids on. I'm surprised the captain was able to stay in the channel, or wanted to. Me, I'd have been anchored up or tied to the dock so I could join the most excellent company on deck.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
