    Thanks to Slim

Due to recent surgery, I'm not able to walk any distance until healed so thought I'd get a riding mower to keep up on the yard and keep the bride happy. Found a cheap rider but didn't know how to get it home.
Thanks to Steve Langston for taking the time away from the pier to haul it home for me.
Now after cutting half the yard, clutch cable came off and have to take it to get repaired. Anyone know where I can get a small utility trailer to take it to the repair shop? And can someone reccomend a repair guy that will work on an older rider?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Harbor freight has some 4x8 fold up trailers for light duty hauling
Clutch cable shouldn't be to hard to replace

Sorry, but I have my trailer with me here at camp. Otherwise I'd be happy to help you---wouldn't charge much, either. Couple of donuts?
There is a Stihl dealer in Foley who works on my ten year old Sears mower, but the name escapes me.

I'll haul it for you Todd. My small trailer has a long ramp and I have pushed a pretty heavy mower on to it by myself several times. I have been burning up the road between OB and Foley for the past week trying to get my mother well and now it looks like it will be traveling back and forth to Robertsdale a couple times a day for quite a while, so trust me,it will nice to do something different and it won't be out of my way.Better to call me on my cell than at the store: 251 978 3942.

I had my starter for the Briggs and Stratton repaired at a place out 98 east of the beach express think it's K & W Products. The address is actually 26264 US Highway 98, Elberta.

Made arrangements W/Dutchmans on 98 just East of FBE, but they want $50 to haul it. They do reasonable work I'm told, so I'm going to try them. I'll see if John G will haul it for me. Mower runs well but just can't get blades to engage. Thanks guys.

That was my first thought. Happened on my Dad's older mower, took me 10 minutes to put on a new one.

No belt issues. The cable engagement lever worked hard to begin with, and now I can see that it's come off, so it won't engage the blades. Repair shop said lever on mower deck gets rusty and may have frozen up. Anyway, the said a new cable is only about $25 and an hour labor. Won't be too bad.

Looks like I won't need a trailer after all. Ma friend of mine says it's an easy fix and he'll help me if I get the part.
    Thanks everyone.
