There's Gotta Be A Way!
There has to be a way to make the time go by quicker so that my wife and I can finally enjoy our FIRST trip without any of our kids! Don't get me wrong we love taking our kids with us every where but after being married 6 year with no honey moon or any kind of celebration. We both are more than ready to come down to the place we love and one day will move to and enjoy ourselves for the fist time! We can't wait to meet up with some of our friends we have made over the years and enjoy some fishing with them! And Hopefully meet some new friends off the forum. June 1st just can't get here soon enough!

Trust me I understand how it goes by so quick. Seems like I turned around and my babies are now pre teens. Just wanting to finally get to spend some time with just the wife and relax and enjoy each others company

Understand countryboy, we enjoy what few times we get away from the kids. But on the other hand, hard to pass up the memories you make with them. Something they will always remember and someday bring their kids along for the same memories. We will also be down the 7th, hopefully will get to fish with you guys, and looking forward to meeting several on here.

bf, back when my wife and I hit that 6-7 year wall, we did our thing at the Casinos since we were already into fishing. Leave the kids, scout the pier and ask questions (we feel smart when we can answer them) Bring the kids next time. You'll know what to expect and it's all under control. I hear ya.

I hear ya pop jiggity, we are at the 13 yr mark, we have had our share of getaways. And enjoy each and everyone of them. But my wife doesn't fish (doesn't have the patience if not biting). My boys are getting older and I enjoy teaching as much as I can to them. Luckily Pier'#r will be teaching me on June 9th. So I will look even smarter.

Making good memories Bill even if we don't catch anything.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
