Thanks and Thoughts
After a coupla days at the pier and attending the picnic, I want to say thanks and share some thoughts:
Thanks:
1. To Bubba and Fin and anyone else that keeps up this great Forum.
2. Fin and all that arranged the picnic. I enjoyed it tremendously.
3. John for making and sharing the great BBQ. Everyone that brought the awesome food.
4. All the great conversation and friendly talks during my trip.
5. #r for suggesting amber colored polarized sunglasses, rather than the blue tinted polarized sunglasses I have.
Thoughts:
1. This forum has a great bunch of folks.
2. Only catching a remora and a squid are hardly satisfying for two days at the pier.
3. Reading and applying the knowledge gained from this forum doesn't necessarily lead to successful catching of fish.
4. I am greatly anticipating moving to the beach this fall and figuring out how to be more successful at catching.

The question is probably not "figuring out how to be more successful at catching" but finding the fish at the pier more plentiful and hungry.
I have stated before I could fish the pier for 2 days with a sparkplug for a bait and it be more satisfying than being at work. Feel the sun and wind on your face, watch and learn from the locals and laugh at the "googans"!

Thanks Gregg, and if you fish they will come, eventually.
Crazy is right, there has to be some cooperation from the fish.
I have seen days so bad that Pier# was only able to fill his cooler half way.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
