Naw, Ernesto is headed for Yucatan and the other one will stay out in the Atlantic. Hopefully, we'll never get more than a big swell if Ernesto gets into the western Gulf. Bubba could then go out and get lost between those big storm swells. It might even perk up the fishing.
Has anybody ever been fishing during the eye of a tropical event? Does anybody want to?

I still want to launch my kayak in the gulf during a named storm just so I can say I did it.

Yea, but you cant get on the Island tomorrow. Why do people ruin all the fun.
We use to wind sail in the yard with a 4x4 sheet of plywood with a rope handle...We would find the best side of the house to run out into the wind when it was gusting then hang on and skii across the wet grass until the plywood was ripped from our hand..It was all fun and games until I was hit in the back of the head with a 100 mph pine needle and it stuck...Ouch!...LOL.
