That's about how much you need these days to go to BPS!

BPS seems to have raised their prices to me just saying last time I checked on brand name Bass Lures.

Not only that, but they started making the once excellent Cabela’s clothes out of cheap materials and slapped a Redhead label on them. I cut up my Cabela’s card and got banned from their Face Book page for saying how much I HATE Bass Pro. It started deteriorating when Johnnie Morris sold it several years before the Cabela’s hostile take over.
Cabela’s and BPS are nothing but an overpriced flea market.

There's not much at either of them that makes me want visit , I'd rather spend my money with the local shops were I fish and hurt , Yes things are a little more expensive but when was the last time you got accurate advice on what was biting what bait , They don't sell fresh bait either .
Their a clothing store that has some boating , hunting and fishing gear , But I would like to fish that big fish tank they haveIf you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and brother, it's starting to rain!

My company did doors and hardware install for a specialty and we got a Bass Pro project.
The front doors were double double entrance doors, all over seven feet, made out of reclaimed vintage wood. All told,...with hardware,...just the materials alone cost over 6K EACH. Sooo,..when you walk into the BPS you are walking past nearly 50k,...of doors alone. Not counting our labor to install.
I wont even comment on what those hollowed out “trees” used to hide the steel columns of the building cost,...you don’t want to know.
I saw all the clothing racks going in,...dozens and dozens,...and all the other non fishing merchandise,.and I turned to my partner and said,...”All this is to catch a fish?”..... We had a good laugh about that.

I've definitely had good experiences with the Bass Pro in Spanish Fort, his name forgets me but the boss man of the fishing department is a goodfella, real stand up guy. Don't know about the rest of the crew, wish J&M was closer to home
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
