South Eastern Conference
I believe the best two teams in the SEC may be next door in Mississippi

I believe you are correct sir. Alabama should have lost to Arkansas and Auburn was beaten by a better team. I don't see Alabama beating a ranked team if they play as poorly as they did the last 2 games. I can see Auburn losing another game if they don't bring their "A" game against their ranked opponents.

Miss St & Ole Miss look like 'the teams to beat' in the SEC West.
Alabama and Auburn look like 'also rans'.
Who will survive the gauntlet?

If they hold on, the egg bowl should be a doozy… Dan Mullen has done a great job building a program in Starkpatch and we were very fortunate to get him. I'll bet Florida will be throwing money at him to woo him after this season…

Auburn beat themselves as much as Miss. State beat them.
Cant turn the ball over for scores on consecutive offensive possessions and expect to win.
It was a very frustrating and disappointing game for this AU alum to watch.....Carl

The consensus seems to be a one-loss team in the SEC West is not necessarily 'out of the race'.
But the way the schedule is arranged, that team is likely to be the 'looser' of the Ole Miss vs Miss St game Nov 29th IF AL & Auburn don't bring their "A-Game" to the Mississippi teams they meet next month.
And of course either of the Alabama teams have to get wins over A&M and their instate rival.
So we've got 6 weeks to debate this until the Nov 29th 'showdown date' in the SEC West...
WooHoo! gotta luv it!
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
