Thread: The shock of time

Last week my youngest son and I went to a local gun shop to pick up some reloading stuff, (they also have a bit of tackle) but there's a hole in the wall restaurant next door, So I said lets have lunch there, He wasn't sure till he saw that they have BBQ , I love them for there oyster's on the hafe shell . So we go in and sit.
Were looking over the menu when the waitress asked what we went to drink.
I said I'll have a Corona and then ask's my son , He said "I'll have the same"
I cringed as I remembered he just turned 21 , Boy that made me feel old in a second. It was our first lunch with him of age .

Understand completely....I'm 57 and my oldest will be 38 tomorrow....yikes!

I have grand kids older....suprised I don't have a great grandkid already

You got started earlier than Linda and I our oldest Grand is only 5 and I'm 67. Guess I won't be around long enough to take Great Grands to pier.
