Really Craving some pig....what's the local best?
Really would like to find a good BBQ place - local, back woods, dirt road kind of place. Loaf bread and a roll of paper towels on the table kind of place.
Greasy, vinegar and pepper with a decent bowl of stew. Brisket would be nice, but not required. If they have banana pudding, I would drive a little further.
I tries the search feature - but nothing came up.
Local reccomendations would be appreciated.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

County Road 10 behind the Shell Station.
Good food, but may be out of paper towels; shirt tail will work though.

I'll have to agree with Fin on Down South BBQ. When I'm down for a while and have to run to Foley for some reason I usually call and pick up a slab of ribs. Linda always says it's too expensive but I usually get three meals out of them.

This is my first stop after a 5 and a half hour drive from North Alabama. Large pork sandwich. chips, sweet tea and banana pudding (no wonder I'm so skinny, right). Then get to J&M for a few dozen shrimp, check in to the room and unload the Sanford & Son truck. Take a nap. Hit the pier. Rinse. Repeat.

Ditto. Usually hit it on my way to Billy's
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
