    rangefinders

I've never owned or used a rangefinder, but I'm considering one this year. Just wondering if anyone with real world experience would like to give an opinion on a model or offer advice.

Very handy, for any kind of shooting or hunting (bow or gun) I will range out trees when bow hunting and a few trees for gun hunting, takes all the guess work out, don't hunt fields but I could see using one when the deer are feeding .....one thing is get the 800 yard one verses the 400

Several good options out there, if you can swing it go Leica, if not Vortex and Sig Sauer both have good units.

I have been pleased with my Leupold, calculates yardage when elevated in tree stand.

Have a Leopold and I'm very happy with it.
If you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and brother, it's starting to rain!

I have a cheap tasco thats on its 6th year, does great even in archery tournaments. it's fairly accurate for my needs. I would like to own the vortex unit. I use their sights on my custom builds and really have good results with them.
