We are getting soaked up here in NC how is everyone making out on the Gulf?

It rained all day today! I thought about going out to the pier, but the weather radar was just too ominous They're talking about more storms tomorrow, associated with a (really cold) cold front. The good news is that I didn't hear about any tornadoes in the Gulf Shores/Foley/Orange Beach area.
We have had over 3" with no end in sight here in Raleigh area.
Here in Atlanta I'm starting to Rust
Not the best week for a vacation. When we come down in January or February I know weather like this is a real possibility but i didn't expect it this trip. Trying to make the best of it, hopefully the rain will stop today. We come down about 3 times a year and bad weather will find you on occasion.....much like life.
Raining since Sunday night and now it’s cold as (cuss words) too. Supposed to have a low of 31 tonight and a high tommorrow of 41. It’s like January!
I went out to check my rain gauge but it had washed away during the night.

No rain this morning but woke up to a light dusting of snow on the roof tops.
Ice here...wpuld much rather snow then freezing rain (ICE)
Snow flurries on lay lake central Alabama this morning and 33 degrees.
Same in Corner/Warrior this morning, except 30 degrees with a wind chill of 24. Had nice dusting on the house and car tops this morning. Thankfully, roads are fine and there is no shortage of bread and milk!Quote:

34 in Mobile, no frost at our house but it sure felt like the week before Christmas instead of the week before Thanksgiving!!
Supposed to be colder tonight as the clouds move east and the colder air sinks in from up north.
