Question about Frogg Toggs
So, I wore my Frogg Toggs in the hardest rain today. The jacket leaked. It started over my left shoulder, then my right and on my back. It was a torrential downpour when it happened.
I have only worn them twice, so they are pretty new. Are they supposed to be completely waterproof? I do not see how water got in like that. I inspected them and there are no holes or an abnormalities.

Re: Question about Frogg Toggs
I also have a pair and the did the same to me during hard rain last bow season. I think they are just for light rain and emergencys

Re: Question about Frogg Toggs
Mine have never leaked. Been in some toad stranglers in them.
Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: Question about Frogg Toggs
i have found frogg toggs to be absolutely worthless. they didn't survive the 1st hunting trip.

Re: Question about Frogg Toggs
I was caught earlier in the year in a downpour morning or two. My toggs leaked. Part of it was my fault because I didn't button down the zipper flap. I don't count the places where my jacket tended to "ride up" on my back so my lower back got wet. That was my fault, too. But where they leaked around the shoulder seams was all their fault. I got a new pair but haven't tried them out, yet.
They do seem to get "soaked" and start leaking eventually, but work well for a while.

Re: Question about Frogg Toggs
After fishing 7 hours in that 'Frog Strangler' on the pier last Saturday I was a drowned rat!
Of course my Frogg Toggs are about 5 years old now so I don't expect a lot from them.
But I did stay mostly dry until about the 3rd or 4th torrential down pour.
it was a great day for quality check on ALL waterproof products :
Some guys I have talked to since then mentioned the same thing about the shoulder seams leaking and suggested some kind of glue or something (I will try to find out what it is called).(RETIRED) mostly.

[size=12pt]
A 55 gallon plastic drum liner is the only thing that doesn’t leak and they are cheap.
Now, if I could only figure out a way to fish while wearing one.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
